Long Tall House in Tokyo is a five-story basement home with three stories showing on the southwest side. The house is built between two streets, and the height difference between the streets is about 11.5 feet. The basement floor faces the northeast.

Long Tall House was designed by a young architecture firm called SPACESPACE founded by Tappei Itou and Takanori kagawa, both from Tokyo Institute of Technology.
