Imagine having four boys in Japan where the birthrate is falling faster than any other country, and the fertility rate is lowest in the world. Having many children is almost sacrilege or a crime there. I grew up in Tokyo back in the ’70s with my four siblings and felt almost ashamed of our family – all of my friends were either a single child or had only a brother or sister. You have to be a little crazy to have many children (especially boys) in Japan, and I think I’m seeing a perfect example here. Bravo! to the family of this house.
