On the Italian island of Sicily, local practice Amore Campione Architettura has renovated and expanded an existing farmhouse. The design seeks to respect the building’s traditional setting with only a few colors and materials used throughout the scheme. The end result is a mix of forms and tones that interact with the region’s historical context. The project comprises four main parts: the garden, the veranda building, the pool and the renovation of the villa.
