Santpedor is a small, rustic municipality located roughly 75km north of Barcelona. Overlooking a hilly Spanish countryside, it boasts just over 7000 inhabitants. The town’s two sites include the Romanesque-Gothic church of St. Peter and the Hermitage of St. Francis. Here is where our story of revival begins.

Japanese Surrealist Terunobu Fujimori Reveals His Otherworldly Vision
A one-legged teahouse suspended amid cherry trees in the Japanese mountains showcases the vivid imagination and designs of architect Terunobu Fujimori. Conceiving his first creation at the age of 42, Fujimori is considered one of the world’s first surrealists in his field. Working solely with natural materials such as earth, wood and stone, the modern eccentric has dedicated his career to pioneering contemporary design with buildings “that float in the air” and roofs covered with living leek plants.

Isabelle Stanislas and Leiko Oshima, aka SO-AN is an architecture & interior design studio with a strong identity. In looking at their projects, there is a mutual language of elegance, contemporary living, revival, grandness and black & white contrasts. This signature design is successfully apparent in the transformation of an XVIIIth century Louvre facing building, from an office space, into a glamorous art loving residence.
