A door, a number, and the faint glow of a keypad worn by use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There was nothing to confirm he had arrived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The code was already waiting for him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The door gave way to a courtyard where the city seemed to stop mid-sentence.
