This <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Machiya\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;machiya&#8221;<\/a> in Kyoto City was built in a historic district protected by a very strict zoning law to preserve the historic beauty of the city.
