The house sits near the famous Bishamondo Temple in Kyoto where Bishamonten is enshrined. As mentioned before (@ <a href=\"http:\/\/whatwedoissecret.org\/madebyblog\/2010\/03\/machiya-hasuniwa-asymmetric-courtyard\/\">Machiya with Asymmetric Courtyard<\/a>), designing a new house in a historic district of Kyoto is not easy.
