Yokosuka, Japan was cool in a rugged lawless kind of way, but that was all during the Vietnam War when there were many bars and clubs for the U.S. Troops along Dobuita street. Thing are bit more refined these days, and you can even find a house like this on top of the hill.
A friend of mine who moved from Paris to Dubai (in pursuit of bigger and better fun) several years ago once told me that almost anything goes in Dubai. It seems that the same prevails in Abu Dhabi – size and flashiness rule!

There is a historic city called “Obama” in central Japan. Many temples form the Yamato Dynasty (approximately between 300 AD and 600 AD) are located there. This house in Obama is… very white, very square.
