Swarovski recently completed this spectacular veil that lines the street outside an indoor theme park called Swarovski Kristallwelten (Crystal Worlds) at the site of its original factory.
The Swarovski veil immediately remineded me of GINA, the BMW’s new concept car, whose exterior was made of silver fabric.
Are we seeing a new trend here?
I went to see the Chanel Mobile Art Pavillion, which just opened in Tokyo on Saturday. I have to say it’s a strange architecture, but it actually fits nicely in a lot next to the Yoyogi National Stadium designed by Kenzo Tange, Japan’s foremost postwar architect, and constructed for the Olympic Games of 1964.
