Yerger Residence, Phoenix

The Yerger Residence in Phoenix, Arizona, is composed of two materialistically different volumes that open to the East to provide constant views of the nearby Camelback Mountain. The house, designed by local practice Chen + Suchart Studio features their masterfully refined use of sand-blasted CMU block and weathering steel. The front entrance sits just above a concrete foundation and garage that serves as a plinth for the structure.
