This Modern Family Home in Laguna Beach Keeps a Low Profile

This latest project from Ehrlich Yanai Rhee Chaney Architects is in the form of a discreet modern home in Laguna Beach. With a 11-foot height limit imposed by the homeowner’s association, the house was built on a series of horizontal floating planes which are supported on stone masses, wood walls and slender steel columns.
