The First Is Still the Best

Ten years ago, in 2016, this was the first image I chose for the box sleeve of MESSY SEXY JUST ROLLED OUT OF BED.

The sleeve has changed twice since then, but after ten years, this is still my favorite.

There is something about this photograph that captured the fragrance before we even knew what it would become: intimate, unguarded, a little undone, and effortlessly sexy.

It doesn’t look like it is trying to sell you a fantasy. It simply catches a moment.

Ten years later, it still feels like MESSY SEXY JUST ROLLED OUT OF BED to me.

Sometimes the first instinct is the right one.
